Children

Children process the world through play. Therefore, it is most commonly through play that I seek to better understand a child's worldview and to explore ways that that view might be shifted in order to support ongoing healthy development.  Another important factor in child therapy is the ability to have ongoing collaboration with a youth's caregiver. Regular collateral communication with the caregiver ensures that the multiple factors impacting a child's functioning are well understood and that the environment is set up to support a youth's progress.
